Hope Youth is for 6th - 12th grade. We exist to connect students to God, each other, our community, and the world. With this comes the need to challenge students to live above cookie-cutter Christianity. We will fulfill this by developing Godly character (Colossians 2:6-7), inspiring intentionality (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and creating a culture of encouragement (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
We are a resource, a safe place, for students to come and hang with people who care about them and what they are going through. Students will hear relevant teaching from the Bible that they can use in their lives now as they’re making decisions about who they’ll be and what they’ll believe. We want to be there to point them toward God and His truth so that they’ll learn about a God who created them and loves them exactly as they are. It’s important to mention we don’t just want to be a resource for students, but also for parents. Our desire is to walk alongside parents and students during this time. One such way we walk alongside parents and students is by partnering with an amazing resource called Axis. Axis has a heart to help parents connect with their teens through meaningful and intentional conversations. |
