We are all on mission to
be Christ's witnesses.
Acts 1:8 (NIV) — But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
The Gospel has not reached
its final destination.
3.4 billion people--40 percent of the world’s population—have yet to experience Jesus’ loving embrace. Until a gospel presence is established among them, the U.S. Alliance will continue to send workers to be present among the world’s unreached and overlooked.
Matthew 24:14 (ESV) — And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.aimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
So... now what?
Our presence matters.
Romans 10:14-15 (NLT) — But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
We believe we are called to pray, give, and go. One such way that we are specifically doing this at Hope, is building strategic partnerships where we make a collaborative effort to expand our Kingdom Impact:
Did you know that 50% of 3rd graders at Crestview were not proficient in reading according to last year's state testing? 50%. Too often, children are falling behind in reading, which affects all aspects of their lives. This is a way that we can overflow in our love for God and put into action our love for people. We are excited to continue our strategic partnership by offering Reading Buddies, a Treat Team, and doing Socktober at Crestview for the 2023 - 2024 school year! Also, in early 2024, Kids Hope USA reached out to us after Crestview asked if we could partner with them to provide one-on-one mentoring for students. It felt faith stretching and yet we felt God moving and so we joined Him in it. We soft launched already this spring by God's sustaining grace. Eight mentors are meeting students weekly...to God be the glory! Lord willing, we hope to add more mentors in the fall.
The Basic Needs Food Market opened on September 12, 2023 in Cottage Grove. They reached out to ask us to help partner in meeting our community’s needs. Food Market volunteers will help provide barrier-free, dignified access to food. Volunteers (age 14 and up) collect food rescue from stores in the area, sort food at the market, restock, and provide customer check-in and service. Their hours are Monday through Friday 11am to 6pm, Saturday 10 am to 2 pm. Each shift is 2 hours and requires at least 2 people. Our hope is to cover a 2nd Saturday shift each month and if more are available each week/month, we’d love to chat with you in this new way that God is moving at Hope!
Did you know that 1 out of 3 people in the Twin Cities are first or second-generation immigrants? Refugees have arrived in Minnesota from Somalia, Burma, Iraq, Ethiopia, Bhutan, Congo, Ukraine, Syria, Liberia, the former Soviet Union, Afghanistan and more. Envision TC desires to equip and assist churches to reach out to the refugee communities with the love of Jesus Christ. As a church, we partner with Envision by providing $100 a month in financial support.
We have committed to partner with this new international worker family in prayer as well as financially supporting with $300 a month.
PRAY
Praying for peoples of the world who most lack access to the Gospel is a practical and effective way God's people can help fulfill the Great Commission. We pray so that our international workers can overcome obstacles and opposition they face in carrying out their call.
Answering the CallOn the first Sunday each month after our morning service, we offer a time to come together and intentionally pray for our international workers. We then send out a monthly prayer reminder for our church family to be in prayer.

GIVE
Christ’s Great Commission is the call of the Christian and Missionary Alliance—it’s why we exist! We are compelled by Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations. Reaching the lost is a cause for which we are willing to go to the ends of the earth--this is no small task!
Your gift creates and maintains gospel access among the least-reached peoples in the United States and nearly 80 countries. Your gift provides for our international workers so they have all they need to care for the physical and spiritual needs of those they've been sent to serve. |
You can also give through Hope by designating "missions."

GO: SERVE + SEND
We need more workers to join us in fulfilling the Great Commission.
“It would seem to be the special call of Christ today to each of us to see, so far as in us lies, that every community that has not yet received the gospel is specially visited with the message of our King.” The Christ in the Bible (1993) A.B. Simpson |
