We know parenting in this world and in the daily grind is challenging so here's some of our favorite resources we'd recommend you check out to encourage you on the journey!

Our Favorite Apps

The Bible App for Kids

Download the most popular kids Bible app for free, and help your kids fall in love with God's Word. Learn more at bible.com/kids.

For parents, the Bible App for Kids companion website offers free resources designed to complement the app, such as coloring pages, activity sheets, and video episodes.

The Parent Cue

The Parent Cue App cues you to have simple and meaningful faith-moments with your kid that will fit seamlessly into the daily rhythm of your life. With videos to encourage them in their faith, quotes & scriptures to encourage you, and specific discussion points, we recommend this way to walk alongside your child in their faith!

Websites

CMAllianceKids

At the Alliance we’re passionate about people and reaching them with the love of Jesus — and kids are some of God’s most precious people. Why is it important to reach kids?

Kidology.com

This is an incredible resource for teachers and parents.  It has lessons, articles, object lessons, and so much more for teaching children from nursery through fifth grade.

Plugged In

This is a resource through Focus on the Family and provides insight to movies, video games, books, and more as a guide to the age appropriateness and content of various media.  It gives you the age and several comments about the content of each source as to graphics, violence, teachable themes, and more.

Common Sense Media

This is a great resource for movies, video games, books, and very much like Plugged In.

Connected Families

Connected Families is a non-profit ministry that cares for, inspires, and equips parents to receive and pass on God’s grace and truth, by imparting a biblical, memorable, transformational framework for parenting.

Ministry Spark

This is through David C Cook and is mainly for teachers and ministry leaders.  However, they often offer free resources for parents and children.

FamilyLife

Helping one family at a time. Making God number one in each life, each home, each day. Knowing there’s only one family like yours.

Melissa McDonald

Passionate about Jesus, the church, and kids. Melissa J. MacDonald  travels extensively speaking, training, coaching, and consulting. She is known for her engaging and powerful communication. She’s the author of Missing: An Urgent Call for the Church to Rescue Kids.

The Culture Translator

We love Axis! They have personalized discussion kits for all those tricky teen conversations! You can also sign up for a free weekly newsletter called "Culture Translator" so that you can know your teens’ world in order to have deeper conversations about the things that matter.
