Prizes and Store Points
We want to encourage children in Hope Kids to abide in the presence of Christ both inside the Church and at Home. This is the goal of the Hope Kids and is the root of all that we do. To this end, we will continue to offer Tracker Store as well as Tracker Jr Prizes to the kids to demonstrate various activities that will strengthen their faith. These processes should be consistent across all the teachers, please reach out to Jason if ever in question.
Tracker Jr. Prizes
Our Tracker Jrs. are given two opportunities to earn a prize as an age-appropriate immediate encouragement for growing in Christ – the first by attending that Sunday and the second is upon returning a Tracker Jr. Treasure (must be from within the last 6 weeks and 1 per Tracker Jr. Treasure). Prizes are given at the end of the class where a child can pick a prize immediately from a fun bucket. Children can choose to give $0.25 to missions in place of receiving a prize.
Tracker Store
On the last Sunday of each month, we will have prizes set out for the kids in Trackers to choose from, ranging from 1 point to 60 points. The category the prizes are in may change as we determine what the kids are saving towards, but the points and structure will not.

Earning Points:
- Attending: 1 point. We want to encourage all the kids who attend on Sunday, all children receive 1 point just for being here.
- Bringing a Bible: 1 Point. We want to encourage children to bring a Bible with them, as this is a tangible way to listen to God. Familiarity with the Bible in class is a great way to help them to read it at home too.
- Bible Memory: 1 Point. We will rotate memory verses and other Bible literacy events (i.e. books of the Bible) to help encourage familiarity. Each event will last between 1 month and 1 quarter, based on complexity.
- Trackers Treasures Returned: 5 points total. To encourage a Christ-focused life outside the church, we want to encourage kids to read their Bible and be discipled at home. Tracker Treasures are one great method. To receive 3 points, parents must initial the Tracker Treasures for completing the Family Challenge. To receive 2 additional points, the box will be checked for reading all 5 verses for the week. The Tracker Treasures must be less than 7 weeks old.
- Bonus Points: 1-5 points. Part of abiding in Christ is the demonstration of Christ-like behavior. Demonstration of this behavior that goes above and beyond should be verbally affirmed. Points given for this category will be given without notifying the child.
- First Time Guests: 5 Points. To be awarded in the “Bonus” column, guests who are here for the first or second visit should receive 5 points per visit.
- 1 point: Small gift like a small candy.
- 5 points: Small gifts, but more than just a small candy.
- 10 points: Encourages some saving of points, this could include a small toy or notebook.
- 20 Points: Intended as a reward for regular attendees who are engaged. Medium-sized toy.

- 60 points: Something worth saving for. Could be Action Bible or other significant prize. Requires saving of points over multiple months.
- Trade points for offering: $0.10 per point.
